The Illustrious Ladies of the Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated invite you to join The Conversation: an honest dialogue about the breakdown of African American relationships.
This 2010 installment of our Book Klub series we will be reading “The Conversation” by New York Times best selling author Hill Harper, and discussing the dynamics of African American family and how its strong legacy is in peril.
The book is currently in stock at Barnes and Noble bookstore located in Butler Plaza on Archer Road. When purchasing it, please alert the cashier it is for the Alpha Kappa Alpha Book Klub as they are reserving copies behind the counter for the event.
The dates for the Book Klub are scheduled for February 25 and March 31. Please have your eyes open for updates regarding the outlines and agenda for the meetings. We look forward to seeing you there.
